About Me

I've got a pretty varied background. In high school, I was all about the music. I played the saxophone, among many other musical instruments. Now, I attend California State University, Fullerton majoring in Computer Science. This unique history shows that I'm capable of blending creativity with technicality, a skill needed for any photographer. When I'm on the job, I juggle both the technical and artistic aspects to create a unique look unlike anything your relative with a fancy camera could ever come up with.

Photography isn't about taking pictures. It's about interacting with and capturing the personality of the subject. That's how I feel whenever I flip my camera's switch to the "on" position. I'm not one of those photographers who shows up, takes your picture, and leaves. My goal is for you to like the way you look in your photos. After all, they are your photos.

I'm Ian Vergara and I'm an on-location photographer who specializes in outdoor photography. I use a variety of techniques such as off-camera flash and light reflectors to obtain a studio look outside of the studio. Outdoor portraits are unique because you can incorporate the elements of a favored location into the photograph. Of course, my work is not limited to the outdoors. Given enough space, I can set up a temoporary studio almost anywhere. Let the studio come to you.
